1. You should watch one..
... especially one early in the season - just to see how rotten the stench of pop TV culture in America has become. It is truly sickening.

3. I guess Kelly Clarkson
the first American Idol winner I've never seen the actual show but I've seen her videos played on various music channels.

I was watching some country music awards show the other day on CBS and a young blond named Carrie Underwood won some awards. I've heard some country acts kind of bash her for being a corporate made artist, which is funny since any country artist who has came along in the last 10 years is exactly that.
