7. honestly i hadn't noticed the ads until i saw all the threads complaining
about them. I find them really amusing. I love the ads that come up with my gmail account. I like how they sort of make sense according to the email, but every once in a while totally don't or fit too perfectly

9. But are you proud to be a Republican?
At least that's what one of the adverts is saying. Not totally inappropriate but not exactly the best targeted advert. Unless we're trying to cater to the Freeper crowd now.

Mark.

11. After I've read the Dr. Weiner story I might need the insurance.
ehe :) - yep the adverts compared to the content can definitely get amusing at times.

Like the old joke about the preacher who was preaching the virtue of abstaining from alcohol... and he was telling about a time in prohibition where they took lots of liquor and poured it into the river... the vodka into the river... the whisky into the river... and after the preacher had finished and it was time for the music director to announce the next hymn... "Shall We Gather At The River?"

Mark.

4. Ads complainers group
Edited on Thu May-25-06 10:46 PM by JohnKleeb
Well fuck that would be a popular one. The ads don't bother me really. I mean learning with the experts, getting anti Bush T-Shirts, and being afraid that Bush is watching me is exciting. Finding old military friends is exciting too despite the fact I've only been eligible for military service since last July.

5. I've offered a very simple, effective solution to their complaints.
If they don't like the ads, shut up and get Adblock. Simple as that.
