She may have been sleeping, but she must have been there before he pulled up and squeeled his brakes. Just gently tap the horn and wave. I would have asked if she was ok. That guy was a punk. I seem to see so many more of them under this president. It is ok to be an asshole.

I used to dismiss this video as fake....of course the versions I saw didn't have the boys skating...WOW!!!

until I saw this version. Now it's got me really wondering......

The kids laughing didn't seem staged. Usually, kids that age are going to sound fakey if it is set up, but they didn't.

I think the camera person was originally just taping the kids but when he heard the car noise, turned around and took this video. Yes, I agree the kids' laughter seems for real and not staged. The only thing that seems staged about it to me is the sound of the purse hitting the front of his car. It is so loud it makes me wonder if it was doctored. The rest of it, though, seems bone fide.

p.s. Upon viewing it another time, I can see now why the noise was so loud. She hit the lower part of the front of the car and the sound comes from the bumper and up through the grill.

I see one more sign that makes me think this was for real. The guy is reading a map or something while he's waiting for her but when he spots the camera, he tries to cover his face with his hand before he gets out of the car and checks for damage. He knows he's a dick.

First time I watched, I thought such instant karma was a little too convenient.

She must have had something heavy in that bag, and hit just the right spot on the bumper. I wonder if she told her friends about it playing bridge. She may not have even known she set off the airbag. Good for the lady!!

They blow up in fractions of a second using high-pressure gas. Here's a description from HowStuffWorks.com:

"Air bags are actually inflated by the equivalent of a solid rocket booster. Sodium azide (NaN3) and potassium nitrate (KNO3) react very quickly to produce a large pulse of hot nitrogen gas. This gas inflates the bag, which literally bursts out of the steering wheel or dashboard as it expands. About a second later, the bag is already deflating (it has holes in it) in order to get out of your way."
