uhh find someway to deport the White Sox, Tigers, and maybe Indians to Cuba than you'll get first place by a huge margin, I would hope so unless the Royals suddenly get hot which is as likely as George Steinbrenner not signing a big name free agent.

when the Tampa Bay Devil Rays are doing better than you. To be fair to the Rays they hit good and their pitching is looking up at least for Scott Kazmir who is only 22 and last I saw is 6-1, his only loss came when the Orioles slapped him round on opening day.

Even the lowly Royals have beaten us this year.

I hold out hope for this weekend's series. I have to, since I have a small wager with a Seattle Mariners fan for this series.

None of the games were on TV so I didn't catch them unfortunely. Nick Markakis was on Web Gems though so I was happy for Cakes.

I thought the Twins had a dearth of televised games. We usually average about one game a week that is not televised. But, there is a way (cough cough) to get (cough cough *ahem*) MLB.TV on the computer to stream it live (cough cough), even though it is blacked out.

Sometimes I want to smack people around here. I don't really hate the Nats but the way people around here turned on the Orioles pissed me off and how the fans were booed when they went to RFK. Yeah we may suck but we're better than the Nationals and their fans boo the Orioles. I guess I should realize that most of these people are also Redskins fans who if you read the Washington Post you'd realize how self obessed they are. For a team that spends like Steinbrenner they sure are inconsistent. I was telling my folks the other day that the Steelers have had only two coaches in the past 3 and a half decades and they couldn't believe it. The Redskins one year went through two coaches. Money can't buy you happiness I guess. I don't have a credit card so I haven't utilized mlb.com yet. I can't wait ot move though even if it means I won't be able to watch Orioles games.
