Nicolas Cage is going to be The Ghost Rider.
Due out in Feb. The trailer makes it look VERY promising!

BTW, I just got back from seeing the X-Men flick. Very dark, and somehow not quite as satisfying as the first two, although much is resolved in the end. A real sadness permeates the story. Take that for what it's worth, which is probably not very much.

I'll probably see it again before it leaves the big screen.

1. yeah
comes out in...feb of 07, i believe...:) I can't wait for them to do a damn Green Lantern flick, but I do enjoy Ghostrider comics...:) I have heard differences in Xmen III...I frequent imdb.com, and there is a 50/50 split on the Xmen III boards, half hate it, the other half like it....i will probably catch Xmen III next week, mid week probably...once all the Xmen fans get it all out of their system...:) Was there a Superman Returns trailer with Xmen III? and if so, how did it look?

2. I saw the Superman trailer last weekend
They've FINALLY gotten rid of the cheap jokes (forgive me, Gene Hackman, but your Lex Luthor was THE WORST)- it looks like it's gonna be dark and serious this time. Hopefully way better than the TV series, which I never (deliberately) watched.

The ones I'm waiting for are Silver Surfer and Iron Man (and when they do Iron Man, if they don't use the Black Sabbath tune as his theme I'll never forgive 'em).

3. word around the campfire
is that they are trying to get Tom Cruise to play Tony Stark, but i haven't visited the Iron Man boards for a while. I haven't heard anything about silver surfer yet, but lately, i've been wrapped around the Superman Returns movie, superman head here...:)

Yeah, Hackman...i didnt like the lex luthor either, he is suppose to be an evil, corporate entity..much like Ken Lay and what not, ruthless. Kevin Spacey, can definately do an insane, psychotic, like he did in 7...i liked his take in 7, because he didn't look like "a man" who could be capable of such...horror. I can't wait for this film, about another month to go...

I didn't like Lois and Clark either...Terri Hatcher was the only reason i watched it...Smallville on the other hand, i like that show a lot better, granted they deviate from the mythos here and there, but in all, i think its a decent take, except the Dawson's Creek crybaby, pre-teen lover triangle crap, the clark/lana shit...
