Yes, I use CAD.
For quite a number of years I've used AutoCad (R14 is my favorite).
I've recently started on a new project that uses SolidWorks, so
I'm on the steep upslope of that learning curve.

Here's another picture that has some components I made:

Yes, I'm feeling much better, thank you.

My son was a baggy pants skating dude with a bad GPA. He changed his life, graduated from HS with a 4.0, (I kinda forced him into it with tough love).

He now owns his own home and business, makes about $4,000-6,000 a month, has turned into one of the most organized people I know, a nice balance between an A-Type and B-Type personality, and is a wonderful husband a father of two.

Makes me think I did something right :D

The model was a balsa and bass wood pain in the ass to make. Yes...many hours...too many! When I asked the instructor what the point was in doing this (especially since I already have a lot of architectural design knowledge), he said I would probably be doing this for future clients. I told him that would NOT be something I would do..I would pay a model maker. I still got an "A" :D

41. Some random stuff
A lot of people who play online games will pay to have portraits, pictures, etc. made of their characters. Most get things done in a very comic book-y feel, but I try to offer something a bit different.

My last 2 finished works:

"Thor's Assassin" from the game "City of Heroes"

Limited color portrait--"Mach E. Avelli" from "City of Villains"

This one is not something I made, but it one of my favorite hobbies. Therefore, you get a pic of me after bodyboarding at Makapu'u Point.

simply gorgeous. I love the pattern, but would never have the patience to finish it. if it's on size 8 or smaller, I get sick of it really quick. But I can throw on a felted purse in about four hours with some fat wool on 11's or 15's :-) I really respect those that can do the intricate stuff- Kudos!

Right now I'm working on some Shetland lace...size 5 needles with an alpaca yarn that's a little thicker than sewing thread. That one's slow going.

Not a really clear picture, but it is plastic canvas, white lettering and dark blue (almost black) background. It says 'ITMFA.' I'm currently making three.
