Not the "relaxing weekend" I'd hoped for...

Yes, that's water leaking through my ceiling:

And, this is what it looks like right now:

Pretty, huh? If you look closely at the area circled in red, you'll see a PVC pipe. That's running from my air-conditioning unit in my attic area... and it broke.

See:

On the "coulda been worse" side:
* I was home when it happened so my entire ceiling did not fall through... on my dog who would have been crated in there
* My wonderful cousin fixed it, and I have my air-conditioning back - this is huge, it's 90 with ridiculously high humidity
* My parents kick serious ass and was able to help even while vacationing on the West Coast
* I have an awesome neighbor, with a ladder tall enough to get into my attic area
* I have a cousin who is a drywall guru
