Your Number One Secret to Success!
Please share ONE tip, one thing you've learned that you've found really works when it comes to achieving your goals and enjoying your life.

Mine:

Show Up!

In school, work, relationships, projects--every aspect of my life, I've found that the only thing I really have to do to succeed is show up. And the only way I can really fail is by not showing up. I may not know what I'm going to do once I do show up, and I may not do the right thing right from the start, but if I keep showing up, eventually I will do it right and before I know it, I got an A, I got the promotion, my husband and I are talking, my son can get through a meal without throwing his dish on the floor, the laundry is put away, the article is written...etc.

Just show up!

Okay, your turn.

3. Do something, be it the right thing, the wrong thing..
but do something. There is no 'try'. Do it or don't.

This is a story about four people named
Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.

There was an important job to be done and
Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.

Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry because it was Everybody's job.

Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Somebody wouldn't do it.

It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when
Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

4. Always start with a plan. And have a back up plan for the plan. And have
a plan B for both plans.

Be kind. Be courteous. Treat others as you want to be treated.

Never lie. Never cheat. Never steal. Always do the right thing.

Follow that course and your life will be good.

13. Don't ever let them see you coming

John Milton: Don't get too cocky my boy. No matter how good you are don't ever let them see you coming. That's the gaffe my friend. You gotta keep yourself small. Innocuous. Be the little guy. You know, the nerd... the leper... shit-kickin' surfer. Look at me.

John Milton: Underestimated from day one. You'd never think I was a master of the universe, now would ya?

19. I need to work on that one.
I can get very cocky. Especially when it comes to card and board games. I just enjoy the hell out of being so over-the-top cocky, and then following through. It's really no fun for anybody else.

21. Any opportunity?
Actually, it could be true. Even an opportunity that may look bad on the surface, or not have an immediate good result may be part of the universe's plan, or may provide a necessary change in perspective that will ultimately lead to the discovery of one's bliss.
