It's NOT fair that the s.o. picks a holiday weekend to have another "woe is me" episode and won't get up off the couch except to go potty (small favors) and is watching really depressing shite that's not improving the mood. Don't feel like going out to eat, don't feel like going to the movies, don't feel like renting a movie, don't feel like going to the park and picnic, don't feel like...

I spent all day working on a class I'm teaching tomorrow night, and I'm pretty burned out. And I was in hell for most of the weekend.

Sigh.

Lack of interest in anything and everything sounds like a warning sign to me :shrug:

As was I, BTW, but I'm not currently taking medication and I'm dealing with my stuff in order of annoyance, not in order of how massively screwed everything is. Case in point: the fact that, at the rate things are going, they're probably going to come grab me and mine under cover of night and stick me in a prison camp does NOT let me off the hook for tomorrow night's class. I'll worry about the prison camp thing later.

The s.o., duly under enough medication to stop a charging rhino with rabies, is lamenting having to use happy helmet drugs (even if it's - hopefully - temporary), and likening the situation to a bad scene out of THX1139.

I normally have endless patience for this, but lately I've been feeling like a little pile of metal filings. There's only so much even I can take.
