Bob Roberts as relevant now as it was 14 years ago.

If you haven't seen Tim Robbins' 1992 satirical mockumentary, Bob Roberts, you should put it on your netflix list or better yet, buy it. The way the right-wing 'populist' Bob Roberts manipulates and controls the election over his steadfast liberal opponent, the way his zombie followers resemble today's Freepers and the overall look at politics in America will send shivers down your spine.

I haven't seen it since the mid-90's and after watching it again last night, I was shocked at how it captured not only the greed-spirited Reagan/Bush years, but how very little things have changed since then.
