Burning issue of the day: Ever used a shampoo/conditioner that
works great but smells awful? I used a new shampoo and conditioner today, and it did nice things for my hair! :D But the sickeningly sweet fragrance is making me nauseated. :puke: It smelled OK in the bottle, but it's not OK now. :( NOTE: Do NOT use Matrix Biolage Color Care Therapie shampoo or conditioner unless you want to hurl. :puke:

I think I'm gonna write the company and ask them if they can please change this nasty fragrance! I'd actually keep using it if it smelled better.

1. Oh, that's bad.
I know exactly what you mean - Matrix has a conditioner I like for curly hair but the smell of it really puts me off. :(

The Aussie products turned the same way by using that sickly-sweet smell.

3. OMG, Aussie products make me gag!
The products themselves are fine, but the smell....gag!!!! :( And a friend of mine warned me about the Matrix curly hair product---that's in the green bottle, right?

5. Yep, green bottle.
I tried it for about a week and a half then just went back to The Body Shop's olive shampoo and conditioner. So much better than the dizziness from the overly-fragranced Matrix - bleah.

6. I thought that might be it...
...I'm glad I was warned to stay away from that one. I just wish I'd been warned about the new one I tried! :yoiks: Time to take it back to the retailer.... Thank goodness I still have the receipt.

2. I use the Biolage for curly hair.. I can't remember the scent..
Good stuff, but I use pantine for a conditioner so maybe the conditioner is what stinks. Any hair product that is strawberry scented makes me want to hurl.

4. Yeah, any fake or sickly-sweet scent makes me sick.
It's the same way about fake berry scents from places like Bath & Body Works. Those fragrances just hurt my brain... :(
