58. Here's my guess.
The thing was so long that it was really tapping the DU server's CPU, even though the graphics were hosted on other sites.

Another reason for locking it could have been that the thread was guilty of grave "bandwidth theft," because so many of the graphics were hosted on sites not owned by the posting DUers. And that's against the rules, though it rarely stops anybody.

Anyway, all's well that ends well. Thanks for playing the the thread, Dave Reynolds.
