Post here if you had a good day!
I had a really light day at work - just meeting with people, planning for next week's output and making some calls to that end, and then I came home to work on some music for a friend's film project, which I've been doing all evening, and I'm having a lot of fun with it - it's goofy-ass '80s pop styled theme music for a montage sequence. All in all, not too stressful and pretty satisfying.

Tell me about your good days, good people of the Lounge!

I didn't get to do something as cool as work on music for a film project, but I got to watch the lightning fuck up my satellite signal a few minutes ago. Now I need to read a book or something. x(

But, it was a good day. :)

for the past couple days just INSANE?

It's fun to watch from my porch though, so I might go do that before I go to bed.

Glad it was a good day. Sorry 'bout your television.

17. Wednesday's a great day to do that.
Before my ankle thing happened, I would often fail to show up for work on Wednesday mornings and go ride my mountain bike in the mud on the trails by the Rocky River. We're on a weekly Tuesday deadline, so nobody much cares if someone doesn't show 'til noon on any given Wednesday.

Walked down to Old Town for the Kebab Special at Ahmet's for lunch. Such good food.

Got a ton of work done.

Talked and laughed a lot with many friends later on in the day outside of work.

Received some good email and PMs.

Found some good late June concerts to get tickets for.

Read some funny shit on DU and elsewhere.

Got paid.

Thanks for asking.

28. Ok, well I was really busy at work
but I like my job and I was a fucking powerhouse today. That means I only have a little end of the month stuff left for tomorrow instead of a lot of it plus regular Thursday stuff.

My best friend showed up at the end of my shift, we had a beer, hung out a bit, and now I'm just watching tv and working on a shirt I'm making until she calls to let me know if she's coming back later or not. If she does, more beer and fun. If not, sleep.

Pretty good for a day when I woke up and thought I was going to feel terrible all day long. Hooray. :D

29. I had a half-good/half -bad day. I had jury duty.
The good part was, doing the "Constitutional" thing.
The bad part was, we (the jury) had to decide the outcome of a case.
If I was a Judge, I might have left feeling confident that I made the right decision.
Now, I'm second guessing myself. Maybe we were to lenient. Oh well, too late now.

So many people get out of it, I think it's cool that you fulfilled a rather important responsibility of being a citizen.

was to piss people off. :P (just kidding)

Yeah, it wasn't bad. Watched some movies and sports. Hung out with my brother. I baked up some biscuits. Been pretty light and enjoyable. I'm on vacation, so it's pretty cool to relax. I should try to finish a few stories for my book though. Curse procrastination!

I had the day off. Woke up at 7 AM, took a bath, took a drive out to the suburbs, met with an advisor at the college I wanna go to, had a salad, talked to a Canadian friend on the phone, recorded a bunch of streaming radio, went to band practice, and got home JUST now to see this thread.

The best part? I didn't even have to use my AK.

Damn right it was a good day.
