The vice I would denounce is heartlessness. Is that the vice they are denouncing? I do not think so.

I don't take it literally. There are those among us that piss us off, irritate, disappoint, and generally need some ribbing. I am sometimes among that group, I think everyone is sometimes- and we are not beyond ridicule when that happens.
