Anyone speak Spanish? Please help.
How would I say in Spanish:

I go to school Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday?

Would it be:
1)Voy a la escuela el lunes, martes, miercoles, jueves, y viernes.

or do I need to add an 'el' before each day as in the following?

2) Voy a la escuela el lunes, el martes, el miercoles, el jueves, y el viernes.

TIA.

I went to a Spanish translation site, but I'm not sure it can be trusted.

1. I think you are good, you don't need the "el"
Then again I wasn't exactly a genius in my Spanish classes either.

2. I vote for option # 1
The second is also correct but wordier. You could even condense it even more and say "el lunes a viernes" (from Monday through Friday). I'm assuming this isn't for a Spanish exam and that this is more for casual conversation. My Spanish skills are all learned through life not schooling.

3. Thanks for the assist
I think the exercise specifically wants me to write out each day of the week, since the lesson is on days of the week.

4. I vote for option 1 as well
My spanish is rusty, but that sounds right to me. I'll be taking a refresher course in the spring.

5. I'm a Spanish major
and I believe it is number 1 too. It would only change if there was a feminine noun used in the sentence.

6. thanks to all who replied -- one more question
Please bear with me. I took six years of French.

I am really confused with what the teacher said.

In response to:
Cuando no va a la escuela? (When don't you go to school?)

the teacher said the response is:
No, va a la escuela el sabado y domingo.

Teacher specifically stated to place a comma after "No". But that would indicate to me "No, I go to school on Saturday and Sunday", instead of "I don't go to school on Saturday and Sunday."

Seems to me there should NOT be a comma after the "No".

7. OK

Here is how it should be:

Cuando no va a la escuela? (When Don't you go to School)

The answer is

No, no voy a la escuela el sabado y domingo.

That is how I would say it. There is always a comma there. Also, I changed the conjugated form of ir from the 3rd person present singular "va" to the first person present singular "voy" because you would be using "yo".
