I was shopping at Overstock.com and noticed that "A People's History of the United States" was in their Top 100 sellers. Good news, given how long it's been in print.

Then below the blurb, I noticed this follow up:

1. Could these just be very popular purchases across the board?
On Amazon, the first few weeks after a Harry Potter release, just about anything you click -- a frying pan, a flash memory card, Tickle Me Elmo, War and Peace -- you will find "people who bought this also bought Harry Potter." Because everyone bought Harry Potter.

Still, pearls? Yeah. Odd.
