Basically they are photos of signs, mainly in Japan, of really bad english translations. Some of this stuff just makes you laugh so hard you think you're gonna piss yer pants

4. Oh man, that is NOTHING.
You guys should see the French translations of just about any appliance/gadget/furniture/whatever that wasn't done in Québec, France or other french countries. They must be the same people that invented online translation gadgets.

How much more expensive is that than a 'regular big lay' vs just a 'lay'?

even in places where you'd think they'd make an effort to have the correct English, they still are hysterically off base (like, in the Forbidden City in China... the signs are all in Chinese & English and sponsored by American Express... but, are still often not very good.

...their "Engrish" is better than our Chinese. Remember, this country (generally speaking) can't even learn the metric system.
