This thread is all about the Bee Gees: please discuss

Pound for Pound, the Bee Gees have put out some of the best music of their era with their dynamic yet harmonious voices with an edge of falsetto.

Yes, I'm a BeeGees fan - I even have some of their stuff on vinyl including Odessa (that one was in a red velvet album cover.

3. In the immortal words of Wayne Campbell:
"Led Zeppelin never made songs that everybody liked. They left that to the Bee Gees!" :D

5. That was my dad's favorite band from 1976-1986
Consequently there is no other band on the face of the planet that I loathe more than the Bee Gees.

Actually some of their early stuff isn't bad, but I don't like disco.

7. Their music in the 60s was fantastic
They also made some really good recordings throughout their whole career. Even if you aren't into disco, there is no mistaking their talent for songwriting, producing and arrangements.

8. I love the mono version of "Bee Gee's 1st"- a psychedelic classic.
Featuring "Red Chair Fade Away", "To Love Somebody" "Have You Seen My Wife, Mr. Jones?" and "Every Christian Lion Hearted Man"

A very melodic but trippy Album- shades of the Beatles & Hollies. Also cool LP art by Klaus Voorman who did drew the "Revolver" cover for the Beatles. A true Summer of Love Classic.

I higly recommend you seek out the MONO version- the stereo is not quite as good.

I got my copy for $2.99 in perfect condition...

LOVE the Bee Gees- forget the haters!!!

9. Barry Gibbs is good with Barbra on her new CD.
You can hear his age in his voice but he still sounds good.

10. As they referred to themselves and their success:
the enigma with a stigma.

I'm not afraid to admit I'm a fan.

11. I wish I could get my voice to be that high pitched...
Of course, Michael Jackson found a way... but I don't want to emulate that...
