"Free Dog Night"

I went to the Red Sox game yesterday. The game was supposed to start at 1:20, but it was in rain delay until after 6 p.m.

At around 7:30, the announce came over the PA and said that the Sox were making it a "Free Dog Night".. that the concession stands would be serving one free hot dog per person per visit to the concession stand "while they last"

So a little while later, I went to get my free dog, and was told that the promotion ended in the 6th inning. I reminded them that the announcer said "while they last" but was told to forget it.

:shrug:

I think someone owes me a hot dog.
