An early morning rant
Okay a little background first, in February my wife walked out on our marriage. It would have been two years last May but she has decided that she no longer wants to be married, so I had to move out of the house that we shared and get an apartment. I could no longer afford where we were living by myself, and it was too much and I didn't want to live there alone. Okay so my new place doesn't have a washer and a dryer like my house did, so I have fallen way behind on laundry. Between moving and working full time I didn't have the time to do any serious laundry. So yesterday I took my laundry to a local laundromat. Everything was going great, I was able to just do everything at once and get all of my clothes clean....and then things turn. A woman and her two little kids show up. Now I have my book, IPod and basket sitting at one of the tables. I get up to check on my laundry and when I come back the two little kids are messing around with my stuff. I politely take the stuff back and go and sit somewhere else, when I get this look from the mother of the kids. I just ignore it because I frankly don't give a shit what she thinks. I am an asshole, I accept it, but I wasn't going to cause any trouble. So I am just minding my own business when these two little bastards start running around the whole place yelling and screaming, splashing each other with the water in the water fountain. Now the mother isn't paying any attention to her kids. She is just letting them do whatever they want, no matter how much it is now irritating the rest of the people there. The mother is now shooting dirty looks to everyone in the place because everyone is getting pretty irritated with the kids right now. WHY DO PEOPLE ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN? When I was a kid, my parents wouldn't allow me to run around and bother other people like this. I hate to stereotype people and forgive me because I am ranting a little, but could it be that the mother is a teen mom and the possibility exists that she didn't really have any discipline herself? Shit like this really irritates me, same thing at a restaurant, if you are going to bring your kids there, make them behave. The other patrons should have to deal with your little babies running around and yelling. Okay sorry if I offended anyone, just a little irritated right now.

1. I had a similiar experience last year at the laundromat...this is what
happened. I filled the washer with my laundry, and what I normally do is leave my detergent bottle and laundry bag on top of the washer. Well, I go to sit down and read a magazine when I hear something drop. I get up to look, and my detergent is lying on the floor...good thing I screwed the cap on tightly. There were about four kids, and the frigging mother was standing there..didn't even offer to pick it up. Turns out they were grabbing for the laundry bag which was under the detergent. I put it back and resumed reading.....

At one point I got up to see how much longer the laundry had to go, and my bag was missing! Guess what? It was sitting on the bitches washer...I said to her " Excuse me, this belongs to me and I had it sitting on top of the washer". She tried to tell me that she found it on the floor and didn't see my name on it! It turns out that there is a place to get ice-cream around the corner from this place, so when the bitch took her little shits outside, I hocked a lugey ( very large and greenish in color ) inside her washer.

If this ever happens to you again...give it a whirl! Sure made me feel better!
