So, it's winter down here in NZ...
Yesterday, snow storms cut the power to Auckland (ha ha) but in Wellington, it's just a freezing cold night with occasional sleet, as the winds whipping straight off the Antartic hit my house. My wife and daughter are away, and all I've got is a bottle of vodka and DU.

Tell me how warm you are, I'm hoping it'll rub off...

2. 62 is chilly?!
I'd be happy with 32...

As soon as I can get enough coats on, I'm going to hunt you down and eat your liver....
With a nice hot toddy.

:)

Where are you, btw?

9. Currently 68 degrees F and cloudy...
and is supposed to get to 82 this afternoon. On Sunday, it got up to 95 before a cold front pushed through and caused all kinds of fun with thunderstorms and hail. Some areas nearby had straight-line winds, and a couple of places had tornadoes. We really need the rain, but we don't need any of that other crap...

Hope you warm up soon! :)

12. I'm sure 90 would be a welcome change...
...however, around here, 90 means oppressive humidity too... So it's a tradeoff! :)

11. Oh, you people don't have winter!
I've been there in "winter". I could ride my bike every day and the worst I got was a little wet and cold. Move to Maine, now. We have WINTER!

I've only been to Wellington once, and remember it as being windy. I loved NZ though.

13. Oh we have winter...
every so often things line up nicely, and we get the katabatic winds blowing straight up the southern sea - this is one of those weeks. It's already cost the life of a sailor in Wellington harbour - poor sod was knocked off his boat by a 4m wave and hasn't been seen since.

"Normal" winters look like LOTR sets... :)
