"Tonight" host Jay Leno might want to consider wearing referee stripes on Wednesday's show when Ann Coulter and George Carlin are his guests.

Coulter, the acid-tongued conservative with a new book out, and Carlin, the quick-witted, antiestablishment comedian who's in the voice cast for the new animated film "Cars," were booked at separate times for the NBC late-nighter, a spokeswoman said Monday.

But the duo's meeting could produce serious fireworks for "Tonight," which usually limits its political fodder to Leno's bipartisan monologue jokes.

Coulter, author of "Godless: The Church of Liberalism," has drawn fire for attacking the four New Jersey widows who pushed for an independent commission to investigate the Sept. 11 World Trade Center attacks in which their husbands died.

GEORGE FUCKING CARLIN is going to be on there. You know that shit's going to be good.

Carlin can make horrible movies worth watching, but even Carlin can't make up for the presence of shit-for-brains.

THAT is why it's going to be good stuff.

If this country were sane, Coulter would be dismissed as a kook and wouldn't get air time on major national TV shows. The fact that she is taken seriously enough that instead of simply ignoring her, they're letting her on major TV shows to push her hatred and bile on as many people as possible tells you all you need to know about how fucked up this country is right now.

I hope Ann the man wears her lead jockeys- she'll need to protect her gonads! :rofl:

I actually pass Jay's show on my way to work -- hopefully I don't see Coulter. :scared:
