Great menu item at Mad Mex
Maybe it was just too many margaritas, but we cracked up when we spied this on the Mad Mex menu last night:

FEMA WRAP | $140K
We do a heckuva job on this one. Soaked in brine for three days and served with a fresh Brownie. Order it today; your server will be over sometime next week.

1. I loved Mad Mex.
Yet another thing I miss about Pittsburgh.

Do they still have the Trailer Park Burrito? That was the Slim Jim with Cheez Whiz & Wonder Bread wrapped in Saran wrap. :D

2. I certainly don't remember that!
I'd have spotted it if it were on the menu.

3. That was on the menu last time I was there,
which had to be at least 8 years ago.

Have you tried the chick pea chili? It's pretty amazing. Great beer selection, too.

5. Never been to Mad Mex, but they sound like my kind of

6. If you're ever in the Pittsburgh area, try them out
Best Mexican food you'll get in the north and pretty good prices, too. I paid $12.00 for a chicken burrito the size of my plate, a side of guacamole, and a Guinness.
