I herebye declare my love for The Spinners
I have a "Rose Royce" Pandora station set up after a much needed sit through Car Wash on Cable last week, and with the stress of the last two weeks, nothing, and I mean nothing, has helped me relax like two dozen classic Spinners tracks.

I admit it.

I'm old now.

But I don't fucking care.

This music is incredible.

4. I am stuck on Games People Play
it is not often that the "right" song comes on at the right time... but tonight it did.

My mood is suitably elevated!

7. Wow, I remember listening to that, and other excellent pop tunes on my
tinny sounding little handheld AM radio as a kid.

"Games People Play" is a very happy making song.

Listening to Carly Simon "You're So Vain" on satellite radio at work today brought back memories like that too.

I'll keep working my way back to you, babe
With a burning love inside

And the happiness that died

6. "Rubber Band Man" was my favorite single.
Saw them on Bandstand and the Mike Douglas Show time and time again.

Good singers and performaers. Good songs.

8. "Games People Play" was beyond awesome when it came out
when I was at most 14. So I'm not sure it has anything to do with being old.:)

9. Good Lord, are we all admitting to being old tonight?
Yeah, me too. I had to stop and think, it was tough, went way back....oh, yeah, The Spinners. I love Yahoo Launchcast, so pulled up the Spinners fan radio. Now listening to The Che-Lites "Oh Girl". That era, those amazing songs - reminds me of long summers with that battery radio playing jacks on the front porch.
