I'm bummed at Tiger's US Open round so far
He's 5 over thru 10 tied for 83rd. Poor guy bogeyed the first 3. He must be still so overwhelmed with grief over the loss of his dad 6 weeks ago. I've experienced loss and I remember it being a very physically draining experience. He was picked by many to win this week but now, if he keeps playing like this he might not even make the cut. It's just sad to watch. I know I'm just a golf geek but is there anyone else out there bummed too?

1. I feel the same way
Six weeks is not a long time. He is surely still grieving. And Fathers Day is Sunday.

9. pardon me but...
FUCK! That so sucks. I'm tivo-ing it and I almost don't want to see this. I've been watching almost all of his tournaments for 6 years and I even went to the US OPEN 2 years ago. I've been there for the good times I guess I should stay for the bad. Poor guy. He should just skip the press today. Unbelievable.

4. I saw him miss a short putt, and he looked like he would break down
The couple of times I've glanced at the set, he looked worn out, to me.

He's still Tiger. He can still pull a miracle. Though it's hard to imagine the way he looks now.

5. I think he will pull it together for tomorrow's round
He is usually kind of shaky in the first round anyway.
