Kicked off a few minutes ago.

6 minutes in & Argentina have already taken the lead thanks to a goal by Maxi Rodrigues

1. 2-0 Argentina
Cambiasso gets a goal at the end of a quick, incisive Argentina move

3. Half-Time
Argentina lead 3-0 and are comfortably in control of the game.

Serbia & Montenegro haven't been bad, in fact in large portions of the game they've looked like a good team, but Argentina have been another level above them and seem able to cut through the Serbia & Montenegro defense at will.

4. Kezman sent off
Serbia & Montenegro down to 10 men as Kezman is sent off for a poor 2-footed challenge on Javier Mascherano

5. 4-0 Argentina
Not a good time to be Serbian or Montenegrian (or how the heck you spell that).

6. 4-0 Argentina
Lionel Messi (on as a 2nd half substitute for Maxi Rodrigues) provides the perfect ball to Hernan Crespo's feet for the 4th goal

7. 5-0 Argentina

Is this the time where you start wondering what the final score is going to be?

EDIT: Goal by Carlos Tevez after a nice solo run.

9. Still 5 minutes + injury time left
If there was another 20 minutes we could have been looking at 7 or 8, but with just a few minutes left Argentina are just playing keep-ball, slow passing between themselves, no hurry.

They're still hungry though so a 6th might not be impossible.

13. Yup, six nil
Pretty strange considering that Serbia & Montenegro are known to have a pretty tight defense.

14. they came to the world cup
With the best defense. Conceded only 1 goal in the qualification round, where they played 12 games. And then today Argentina himiliated them...

16. All over
Absolutely superb football by Argentina.

Serbia & Montenegro weren't bad in the first half, but in the second half they lost the plot. Kezman got sent off and the team crumbled.

There was a superb atmosphere in the stadium with the Argentinian fans pushing their team forward throughout the game.

On this sort of form Argentina have to be taken very seriously as potential winners of the tournament.

Next week Argentina play Holland in the last of their group games, I can't wait :)

18. As I mentioned in a post earlier
The Dutch are skillful enough to win the World Cup, but they players really dislike each other.
