4. There you see? I just don't give DU-ers enough credit.
I thought for sure that no one would get the reference to an empty jet cockpit, and boy was I wrong. I'm embarrassed about misunderestimating our DU-ers.:hide:

Good morning, miss! :hi:

3. You should really publish a 2007 daily desk calendar.
I'm dead serious.

7. You know, the idea of a "People of the Democratic Underground"
calendar was proposed several years ago, but it never got off the ground. There were some good ideas floating around that would have made for a terrific calendar, too. For example, one idea was to have a monthly feature called "Liberals Unmasked; people you didn't know were liberals", like Cardinal Richelieu, who believed, during the religious wars of the 17th Century, in complete religious freedom for all. But he had to prosecute the wars of his boss, Catholic Louis XIII.

Things like that.

11. Good afternoon, CalPeg!
I have wanted to do this one for some time now, but I didn't know quite how to present it. I thught abut putting a shot of an empty desk in there, as well, but I didn't know if people would get the reference. But it looks like it held up pretty well in its present state so I'm happy.

13. Wow! Bookmarked! Thank you!
That's very flattering. BTW, have you had a chance to check out my journal? Most of the past ones are in there. There are a couple of them where the link to the pic died, but most of them are still hanging in there.
