Could use a little CHEERING UP from DU

The GOP's attack on American values (notably fredom of expression) and the media's bias have been getting me down (plus a few other things).

But maybe something funny, or enlightening, or just uplifting, will help me through.

I was in such a dilemma because of the "boyfriend mad at me for my reading DU" thingy. Although I'm in a rather tender hearted stage right now, I do recall you posting some uplifting and encouraging words for me.

I'm down from all the media bias and exploitation of our America by the GOP also.
Sometimes I have to take a few days of not listening to anyof it, just to preserve my strength for the long fight ahead.
Like a time out for my soul. Ya know?

Granted, the GOP fight will be there when I return, I just take care of the "other things" waiting to be dealt with.

As a favor to you for your presence in my post of last night, may I ask about those "other things"?

Maybe we can find a resolution to some of them.
I'd do all I can to help you if you like..
I have a little time now...c'mon tell me..

...:hug: There's a hug for you. :) I wish I had a pic of this, but our dog Vicki (looks like the RCA Victor dog but taller and leaner) slept on her back last night and had her feet straight up in the air. She was dreaming something good, too, because she started whining in her sleep, and her feet were moving like she was chasing something. Probably dreaming of chasing squirrels or rabbits in our back yard. :)
