3. I mixed it up- it went on top of my tiramisu.
(well- the portion that I didn't eat, anyway!) I've been tempted to take a nap, but I have to get my house tidied up for company.

8. Yummy!

I'm sure your company will enjoy the treat!
Maybe you have time for a very short nap, 30 minutes of sleep is a big help sometimes.

2. They make that?
Tons of carbon waiting to be released from the permafrost is a little easier to process now.

I need some.

9. That sounds yummy for summer, too!
I like to find fun, indulgent dessert recipes for when I have company this time of year.

12. MMmmm, - me too!, - here's a fun one
This is incredible whether you wedge it into a profiterole and slather it in Tupelo Honey, layer it with tropical fruits in a parfait, or scoop it on a slice of warm peach pie.

Creme Fraiche Ice Cream

1/2 vanilla bean
2 cups creme fraiche
1 cup half-and-half
2/3 cup sugar
6 egg yolks

Split the vanilla bean in half lengthwise and scrape the fine black seeds into a medium saucepan. Add the vanilla bean pod, creme fraiche, half-and-half and sugar, and warm the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved, 3 to 5 minutes.

In a medium bowl, whisk the egg yolks just until blended, then whisk in about one-quarter of the warm half-and-half mixture. Return the yolk mixture to the saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the custard coats the spoon, about 10 minutes. Strain the custard into a medium bowl to remove any lumps and let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until fully chilled. When cold, pour the mixture into an ice-cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions. Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze until set, at least 2 hours.

17. I'd like to keep my looks and only get semi-rich.
Is that a possibility? :P

I'm glad, in a very selfish kind of way, that i'm not the only one with such horrible hours. I'm sorry.

14. First your whipped cream has to admit it has a problem...
then it has to put itself in the hands of the higher power.
(Just winging it; I'm rather rusty on the precepts of AA as the alcoholics have kindly moved out of my life.)
:)
