North Carolina versus Cal State Fullerton is in the bottom of the 12th, all knotted up at 5 apiece...

I do like the CWS, but I wish all colleges (and even high schools) would return to the use of wood bats. Too many pitchers have been seriously injured by comebackers off aluminum bats.

Especially the CWS, because it's a look at who's gonna be in the show in three or four years. But that "tink" just puts me off.

I love baseball, but I have a hard time watching college ball. I think it's due to the dainty "tink" sound when the stupid-assed aluminum bat makes contact with the ball. Wooden bats CRACK! Metal bats tink.
