I think it's time for a new avatar

I'm considering the Che one. I don't completely agree with his politics but he was a hero to me in childhood--I used to draw him a lot. I also tend to like posters with the Che atavar. I think it's been long enough that it wouldn't just tag me as a hardcore R.A.M. fan (nothing against them but I'm not a hardcore fan).

Those of you who know me, or don't, can you suggest any of the others? I'm open to suggestion on this.

That's what mine always looked like when I was a kid...

I've done the world from space, the wine glass, Stephen Colbert, the equal symbol (equal rights for gay people during the marriage amendment thing), the sunflower now ...

I could do the state of Oregon, but that would probably be too obvious, because of my screen name.

A lot of people have been using gay symbols but say things in their posts that indicate being straight. Are they all bi or is this a solidarity thing? I feel a lot of solidarity now, since straight cohabitants' civil rights are obviously the next target.

I don't like the color on the state ones. Never figured out how to shrink a picture of my own to the size requirements.

The V for Vendetta one is cool, but I don't think it's as effective now that there aren't a million of them. Also, I use my avatar to find my post in threads.

The one I have is because supposedly some of my ancestors were actual pirates. Fun fact
