'Winfreestuff.com', how the eff to make it go away?

Does anybody else get this damn thing daily? I have my yahoo set to the highest possible filter setting, but this crap gets through every day, when virtually nothing else does. I've tried blocking it, but apparently it comes from a different source every day.

How do I stop getting this thing? It's making me crazy!

Looks like you have some adware on your computer. Lots of luck finding it and disposing of it, although AdAware seems to do a good job cleaning up stuff like this. Had a friend's box slow down to a crawl with all kinds of these sort of nasties running in the background. Ran AdAware, and several hours later, it had removed something like a thousand files. Box ran like new after that.

2. Does that apply to Apple' puters?

I've only just gotten this computer, before it I used PCs (mostly at the library). I've gotten winfreestuff for a long time.
