For WC and others, my interview was cancelled

One candidate came in yesterday and when she left, the executive director called me into his office and said my skills were so far below those of the other 3 candidates that he didn't really see the point in moving forward. I was so shocked, I don't even remember what I said. After a 5 day assignment turned into 5 months, they called the agency, said wonderful things about me and said I didn't need to come back. No notice. Nothing.

My head is still spinning.

The rent's due next Friday and no matter how I look at it, I don't have it. I've been independent my entire adult life. This is a very bitter pill to swallow right now.
