Futurama coming back (new!) on Comedy Central?
(yes, it's not a great source, but it's entertainment, not middle-east policy)


BACK TO THE 'FUTURAMA'

ANOTHER 'TOON RESURRECTED


"FUTURAMA" is officially back from the dead.

The quirky animated show from "Simpsons" creator Matt Groening was canceled by Fox about two years ago, but will return with at least 13 new episodes on Comedy Central by 2008.

This is only the second time in television history that a show sent to TV's trash heap has been resurrected. Curiously, the first was "Family Guy," also an animated Fox show.

Good news, everyone!

It had better be good news this time. First there were supposed to be four direct to DVD movies, then Billy West said a new series, then oops, it's not a new series, and now this.

Regardless, really looking forward to this. Hopefully comedy central won't try and turn it into South Park in Space and will keep the quirky, geeky humor intact.

10. As much as that would be awesome, and as much as I love Futurama...
remember that this IS the New York Post here. They're not exactly the most credible news source out there.

Check billywest.com (the voice of Fry) for official news.

on Craig Ferguson's show. She didn't give a timetable, just that
she and everyone else said "Yes" as soon as they heard and haven't
signed the paperwork yet.

This show deserved to die. Never bring it back, never!

Although, when you compare it to other shows on Comedy Central like "The Showbiz Show with David Spade!" or "Carlos Mencia"...I guess it would be in good company. :eyes:
