Air musicians — whom do you like to cover?
On lead guitar, I love to riff off Brian May (Queen) and Neil Schon (Journey) because they're so clean. Drums, it's Roger Taylor (Queen), Ian Paice (Deep Purple) and any good jazz or blues drummer — except Gene Krupa, who was a little too busy for me. Keyboard, there's only one — Jon Lord of Deep Purple. I tore up our Wurlitzer piano as a teenager doing riffs from "Space Truckin'" and "Lazy."

Who inspires you? :headbang:

2. I know
I can't imagine anyone cleaner, and he had that sound. Like David Gilmour, you hear it and you immediately know it's him. I still don't know how he got it.

5. Oh, man, Uriah Heep!
I had a too-brief thing with them around 1972 ("Look At Yourself"). They were Deep Purple without the PR, I guess — every bit as good, but never hit it as big in the U.S.

Now I wanna get that album again. Back then, we blew out the speakers in my friend's car listening to the 8-track. :headbang:

11. Well,
I've seen your wrists, and given how shallow I am, that's enough.

13. Yes, it's true, I married a complex man.
But that doesn't mean _I'm_ not shallow.
