I'm being held hostage by utility trucks!
Two days ago a storm blew through taking down an enormous oak tree which knocked down all the major utilities in our part of the city. Five utility poles snapped off. Lines were down everywhere. My garage is at the end of an alley which has been blocked since Thursday at 5 pm. I need to get groceries. Send FEMA!

Actually, I'm very lucky. We were not home at the time of the storm, so we do have a vehicle parked outside of the tree zone. Our neighbors still have part of the tree in their kitchen. Another neighbor is dealing with holes in her roof. A third neighbor has a crater in her back yard where the tree roots once were. Our only damage was a few little branches and leaves in our yard.
