22. Did you try it out on a sheet of paper or a tomato when you got home?
I tried mine out on both, almost laughed it was so delightfully smooth. Used it tonight for the 3rd time.

That's where I got my Wusthof 7" Santoku. I went to the mall many times to visit it, contemplate it, and gaze longingly at it through the glass, and finally I brought it home!

14. Remember to run it through the dishwasher 6 or 8 times first.
Those blades come needing massive cleaning, and only a dishwasher can do it.

15. I bought one years ago, and haven't even looked at my chef's knife since.
Well, technically I've looked at it, but in the metaphorical sense, I haven't. I tried using a chef knife a few years after buying the santoku, and it pissed me off with its clumsiness so much, it's been in the cupboard with the rest of the piece of shit Chicago Cutlery set it came in.

Santoku is the only way to go!!
