GRRR!!!! I HATE SALONS!

I went to get my hair cut today. I wanted it cut a little bit shorter but still past the shoulders... This is what they did to me:

Get it out of your system.

I hate it when hair stylists do " their" own thing
and don't think of how you might want to look.

The haircut is not bad at all- in fact it's very nice.

But and this a biggie-
it's not what you wanted- you didn't want it that short.

The saving grace is that it will grow out,again.
In the summer, hair grows faster- honest, I'm not making this up!
( if it's not true- I will have a word with the lady who cuts my hair!)

I think this has happened to all women. They once cut my bangs
off so short I looked like a geek. I cryed all day long.
Maybe you can find a friend that cuts hair and she will be more
careful about how much to cut off.
My daughter has been through hair school and she now cuts my hair
thank goodness.
She said she usually cuts off less then asks the customer after
she is finished if they wanted it shorter even if she has to spend more time.
Means a lot with repeat customers.
Don't worry it will grow back quick.

my hair is curly, so when she cut it wet it was longer, but once it was dried it was super short! i warned her too! :grr:

Must not have been what you were after but don't despair because it does look good on you. And, hey, hair always grows back. I once had a perm that burned a patch of hair the size of a fifty-cent piece, right on the crown of my scalp. I had stubble, first, then sprouts. It looked pretty silly for several months.

After drying, curls up over shoulder.

The good thing is that it's summer, so the shorter hair might be cooler AND it will always grow back.

i never know what to do when they screw up my hair, hell, that looks like they just gave up and didn't even try to style it

i usually get where they deceptively somehow style it to conceal how badly they've screwed up until i've already left and it's too late

then they want me to pay for them to somehow trim it every 3 weeks to fix it, yeah, like that's gonna happen, haven't been to a salon in years and honestly no one seems to have noticed a thing

want to hear right now. You have such large beautiful eyes (I'm envious) and the hair at that length really shows them off! Though, I wouldn't go back to a stylist who didn't do as you requested..you have a right to be angry, in that regard.
