I lost an arm, a leg, a testicle, and a thumb in GENERAL DISCUSSION
I can't wait to get back in there! Does anyone know where I can get a cheap wheelchair and some assorted prosthetics? :shrug:

I went in there yesterday and read a post that relied on history to make it's case. Except it wasn't history, it was some kind of distorted alternate universe history.

I can't go back there. I might claw out my eyeballs because of the stupid things people post. Flamewars are fine, but Jesus, leave history out of it. How about just basing your assertions on facts?

GD has made me better, or rather, well informed, and a better thinker.

You have to be quick on your feet hanging out in there.

Then at times you need to learn how to leave it alone for a little bit. Really think before you post. Or is it the new rules that makes one do that? :D

In any event, posting in GD teaches you to tell someone to drop dead twice, get up and do it again, and make it sound like you're his best friend.

24. love the vulture,my husband is laughing at me,
it's late and I'm getting punchy. I went to GD briefly a little while ago and thought better of it. I read a few things and rarely have much to say, since I don't have strong feelings yet about any candidate. It just looks intense in there.

It was when I witnessed someone keep spouting stupid stuff after it was pointed out without a doubt to be stupid simply out of spite. I left in a big hurry, I didn't even want to comtemplate what GD would look like if that attitude became popular.

I got my first flame a couple days ago. I responded by thanking them, since I think the "baptism by fire" makes you an official member. (watch for the card and instructions on the secret handshake in the mail)

I have been in much worse flame wars elsewhere before, but there is something about getting flamed at a new site to really get that adrenaline pumping!

(I was banned at Survivor Sucks.... I can survive anything!)
