1. great and unique bluesman, among other things . . .
I love "Statesboro Blues" and "Don't Put That Thing On Me," which features an absolutely beautiful piano riff by Dr. John . . . his rendition of the old Fleetwoods hit "Mr. Blue" is a classic . . . Bromberg took some time off from performing some years back to learn how to make violins . . . wonder if he's still into that . . .

3. I believe he is.
I had the pleasure of seeing Dave play in 1995, at the State Theture in Portland, ME. for his 50th birthday reunion with the band. Saweeet!

It was pretty cool, it was like they had never stopped playing in 20+ years.

As we were walking in, Dave was walking in with his son....he was maybe 6 years old with a top hat on...pretty funny.

Afterwards, we headed over to the Top of the East, accross the street. Most of the Band hung out there and we had a grreat time that evening....
