They are using "Democrat" as an adjective, so I have taken to using "Democratic" as a noun. :P

1. I like the old Nineteenth Century construction
where instead of referring to "Democrats" or to "The Democratic Party," people, pundits and politicos referred instead to "The Democracy."

Ah, the good old days.

3. I wasn't aware of this before DU, but since then I have really
been atune to the perjorative "DemocrRAT" party etc. Just last week, on Hardball, I heard Laura, the 'ho, talk about the Democrat Party. Tweety didn't call her on this, but I have heard him call others on it.
