27. We're all rusty and dusty. I told Mrs R just today (her native language is
a French creole, though she is able to converse nicely with Quebecois), that when we go to visit her cousin in Quebec that I know very well how to speak the only French I need to: "Parlez-vous Anglais?"

(Oh, and the other Quebec necessity: Poutine, s'il-vous plait.)

46. Heart Attack on a Plate. It's a cheeseburger with a meat/tomato/
brown gravy sauce.

But here's the catch. They don't just put it on the burger. No, they put the bottom bun and the cheeseburger into one of those Styrofoam flying-saucer containers. Then they ladle sauce over it. And THEN, the put the top half of the bun on the whole messy assemblage, and pour ANOTHER ladle of sauce over that!

They do the same with hotdogs. Amazingly, you do not see so many overweight people in Quebec as you do here. Genetics, you think?

45. He's good like that.
Being paralyzed on 1/2 of the body makes you more...co-operative, I think. He's been through hell with infections for 1+ years now, and it's done a number on his mobility...what he had, that is. But, I saw him 2 days ago, and he's looking great! :)

Thank you...and I agree, when you need those meds, you need them. Simple as that. :hug:
