So is Dan Rather not a morning person ?
just flipping accross the tube & Yikes! Dan looks really awful.

Has he gone downhill a lot lately or is it too early for his makeup person ?

2. Dan Rather is the best of the news anchors, I believe
but I cannot imagine that he is at his best at the early hours, so I will tune in and see him for myself. I believe that he tries his best to report the honest, and not puff-piece news, so I tend to cut him a lot of slack when he has been on, during some sort of crisis, and comes up with his Texas witticisms. I think that the stress of having to report so much negative news has taken a toll on him. If you remember, he cried on Letterman after 9/11. This gave him more credence with me, since it made him human and not just a talking head.:shrug:
