Are the threads just the tip of the iceberg?

Do the PM's make up the bulk of what is said here?

1. not on my DU
about the only time I get (or send) PMs is if I am sharing personal information or the thread I'm chatting on is locked :evilgrin:

2. I rarely speak via PM and really don't even bother thinking about
what lies beneath. I find most of people's claims of PM flurries to be farcical :hi:

13. I don't get or send many, but I like it that way. I have a few close
friends who write little notes to me, but it's nothing we would (usually) say to each other right on the board. One time I was accused of being in on some kind of PM smear campaign and I hadn't even had a PM in 5 days. It's nuts.

5. I used to PM a lot more than I do now.
I hardly get them these days.

It does seem that a lot of things are said in the privacy of PM, though. There are times when I feel like I'm missing a piece of the discussion that everyone else knows. :shrug:

of those are from Skinner/DU or people responding to my "Don't ask me, I never get any PMs" replies. :hi:
