Some dumb woman caller to Washington Journal
said that she hopes that Saddam's capture will bring the families of the victims of 9/11 some kind of closure. Why do people still think Saddam is connected to 9/11?

And utterly stupid.

Even if Osama is captured and skinned alive slowly, it's not closure. The Saudis, or rather a bunch of Saudi citizens, were to blame for the atrocity. And the official Saudi response was weak.

Of course, if the Saudis wanted to incite terrorism, all they need do is to stop selling us their oil. (oh yeah, didn't they do something like that once, say 32 years ago or so?)

about kicking Arab butt. It doesn't matter if they're the wrong Arabs. It's like the lynchings in the South, they really didn't care who they lynched. Just so they got some black man.

It seemed like every caller from the South supports the war, Bush and believes Saddam is behind 9/11. Every caller from the North seemed to be opposed to the war.
