Poll question: Who should play Wonder Woman? (with pics)
Edited on Mon Jul-10-06 09:00 PM by NewJeffCT
OK, here is the question. Since we have had examples of great & horrible casting recently – here is my question. Who should play Wonder Woman on the big screen? I’m trying to include women who have recently been rumored to be up for the part.

Sandra Bullock?

Priyanka Chopra?

Morena Baccarin?

Jessica Biel?

Catherine Zeta-Jones?

Kate Beckinsale?

Lindsay Lohan?

Jessica Alba?

Anybody else?

3. Charisma Carpenter
She looks the part and can do comedy well.

The movie shouldn't take itself too seriously (see failures like Elektra).

All of the other actresses are either too old, too young, or too skanky (Lohan).

I think she'd agree to do Wonder Woman.

I don't think she left Angel willingly.

17. Charisma seemed to have a guest-starring role on Veronica Mars.
At least from what I've caught of the summer reruns.

I think she'd be a good choice for WW, too.

12. she'd be fantastic.
I'd really like it if they stayed true to Linda Carter's basic looks and body type like they have with superman. Linda had BLUE yes. Anyone of the brown-eyed women above could be Isis, but not Wonder Woman. NOOOO!! to Lohan, Alba and Biel. It's Wonder-Woman, not Wonder-Waif.

Prettier that all of the above

Jumps a couch with much more authority.

Better hair than the most in the industry.

Can make a baby under stress quicker than any other woman.

Can change a diaper according to the tabloids without actually being around a baby.

Just until that acting thing works out, right?

I heard if you wanna be an actress in Hollywood, you need to learn just one line - "Will this be separate checks, or will all of this be one one check?".

:D

so, I had to vote for Jennifer Biel based on her photo. She looks ready to kick some villainous bee-hind!

The campy, cutesy, cleavage image needs to be replaced by a fierce protector of the innocent.

60. Don't laugh, but I think...
the actress that is doing commercials for that diet plan and also did Pier 1 import commercials would be great. (I don't know why I can't think of her name, I'm just drawing a blank) She seems strong and capable and womanly rather than fragile. I also think she has wonderful eyebrows and a forehead that would be perfect with that little head band thing Wonder Woman wears. She shouldn't be overweight but she shouldn't be scrawny, either. I think she could handle the acting, too, even though she seems to be stereotyped, now.

a reall athletic 40-45. The older I get, the more I realize that only then do we really start getting smart and powerful. And I don't want to see none of this "tie her wrist bracelets together and she's powerless" bullshit in the movie, either. You know, I think we'll just have to resurrect Bettie Davis and get her to the gym!
