Does anyone have ties to bigwigs in the music industry?
I'd like to propose that someone who can sell a lot of records remake some Captain Beefheart tunes from Safe as Milk, in particular Abba Zaba and Yellow Brick Road. These songs should have been hits, and the Captain should have been able to retire in relative prosperity. He's owed some justice from the universe for being a stark raving genius. I wonder if someone like Springsteen or Metallica could do something with them and give a big chunk of change to the Captain for his retirement fund. Does anyone know Avril Lavigne or Eminem?
