Such a simple approach to a film, yet so effective. I was completely absorbed. Just as intense a movie as you'll ever see.

3. "A Man Escaped." It's a French film from 1957 about
a man who escapes from a Nazi prison camp.

5. See it. Seriously.
It's a one-of-a-kind film. Not in a "weird" way, either.

More of a "damn, this director wasn't bullshitting at ALL" kind of way, with an outstanding script and cast.

10. Oh, it's Bresson! I will definitely check it out. He and I have the same
birthday!

All I've ever seen of his is Trial of Joan of Arc.
