I'm pretty much a 'beer-totlar' but I've got a collection of hard liquor staples (whisky, rum, gin, etc) stashed away. Some have been opened, others not. I've been keeping it in a cabinet over the fridge since that's an inconvenient place to store anything else. It gets a little warm up there so I'm wondering: will it have a bad affect the booze (immediately or over time)?

I've been thinking along the same lines about a bottle of Chivas I have at home. Tell us what we should do!

6. All I can say is that I have much the same situation and have never had
a problem with booze stored like that for quite some time.
