2. That Malan is a certifiable weirdo all right...I'd rather see crazy hat
guy stay than Malan...his laugh is just SO GODAWFUL ANNOYING!!
I thought that Laura's coat design should have won last week...the guy who won, his dress was very cute, but not nearly as innovative with materials as was her coat.
Can't wait to see what happens tonight.

16. Oh man, I had not even considered one of the drunken shallow twits...
yikes.
But then, I don't normally associate 'Bush' with 'royalty'

I'd love to see someone really classy, and who might more honestly fit that description, like Caroline Kennedy for example, but I don't know if she'd get involved in something like this.
I bet she'd be fun to dress...her wedding dress was so cool, very unique and appropriate for her.

I love the show but I have come to conclusion that if a crazy psycho is up against a boring person for the last two standing before they give the boot - it will always be the boring person booted first.

How else can you explain how Wendy Pepper and Santino made it to the final 3

7. Keith is an annoying egoist, and didn't deserve the win
Robert or Uli did, imo.

Jefferey is also an annoying egoist with one of the most annoying tats I have EVER seen!!!

Heidi looks way better with some preggo meat on her bones.

I love M. Kors and Nina Garcia (said with German accent Spanish accent). Kate Spade seems freakishly normal (and kinda cute).

It's going to be a GREAT season!!!

11. Which was Robert's design?
If Robert did the white dress with the red bows on the back, I agree, he should have won. That dress was beautifully, beautifully tailored. I couldn't believe how perfectly it fit the model or how well it was sewn, on the fly like that.

then to pick the most mundane dress made was incredibly stupid. What were they supposed to do anyway? At least basket-hat guy was trying!

and I too love the coffee filter dress.

I thought that rock star designer guy (Jeffrey?) must have been mortified to be one of the last two losers on the very first show. I think they might keep him for a while for the "drama."

And I don't know ANY woman who would, when not pregnant, wear a dress that is longer in the front than in the back. BUTT UGLY.

Just because it's different doesn't make it fashionable, or chic, or cool, or hot, or whatever...

i don't know if it was just the editing or what, but that crazy guy treated his partner like crap. based on what i saw, it's not that SHE failed him, it's that he refused to work with her. not even giving her little things to do just to pass time.

at least Malan's dress could be said to be original. it just wasn't executed right.

it's too bad. i wonder if they would have kept Malan if he had acted like an asshole instead of being classy and taking the blame for the dress.

They must keep the crazies on for ratings, because I think by anyone's objective judgement, Malan deserved to stay and Vincent (who should have been kicked off on the first episode) should have been BYE-BYE outta there!

He was a total bitch to his partner. It wasn't her fault, I'm sure had she been paired up with any other designer there this wouldn't have happened to her.

49. No Angela was the problem (and Miss USA liked Vincent's dress)
They showed how she was sucking up to Kayne before the presentation because she knew Kayne had experience designing pagent dresses. Then she was the only designer to not even bother with a dress design for Miss USA claiming she doesn't draw but asks questions. And if you noticed - she was the LAST person picked because no one wanted to work with her so it's not like she had a choice being paired up with any other designer because no one likes her at all.

Vincent is a loop job but the worst thing is she tried to throw him under the bus to Tim Gunn.

She should have been sent packing.

59. yeah, she didn't offer a design, and she didn't help with the dress
did she do ANYthing constructive the entire episode?

Malan, at least, had a design that was good enough to be one of those that Miss USA selected. And he worked well in the team (which was a little surprising). And he did the stand-up thing in taking blame/responsibility for the execution failure. But Angela didn't design, didn't work as a team, didn't do anything. I think she should have gone.

I agree with you about Vincent though, he's a talentless little bitch.

And Malan should definitely have one of those crisis counselors dispatched to his side immediately. You know, the ones who jump into action after a plane crash or air show disaster. It was rare for a contestant to be so honest about something that happened to them as a kid, it's a shame he went so soon!

48. Folks! Vincent was not in the bottom 2 because of his dress
If you remember, when the judges asked Ms. USA about Vincent's dress she actually had nice things to say about it for all except the strange shoulders. When she looked at Malan's dress she just cringed. And Miss USA was the customer.

Now, I didn't realize this but someone pointed it out from last week. There is a quip in the closing credits that say the producers have some say in the final decision. And Tim Gunn had a chance to hear about how Angela basically sat on her ass for the entire 2 days for the competition and her complaints about the dress (I thought Angela's face was a classic when she heard Miss USA compliment Vincent on the dress design). So I'm thinking that there was a mention to the judges about the poor team behavior between team Vincent & Angela and that's what plopped them in the bottom 2 NOT the dress design (personally I didn't like Jeffery's dress either - another shredder designer).

my daughter was actually teary eyed when he was crying. I cannot stand the winner from last week and Vincent is a little nuts and i hated, hated, hated the shoulders of his dress but the back was pretty and Hip hop guy and Red head lady did a great job, i really like the both of them. The dress that won imo did look like a pageant dress so i can understand her picking it, Miss USA i did not care for at all.

Each season has a monkey... someone who makes good TV.

The crazy guy keeps people tuning in.

I've noticed that Bravo uses the monkey formula in all
